Who inspires you and why?: My grandparents inspire me the most. They are the most selfless people and always find a way to give back. Whether it be building a house through Habitat for Humanity, making meals or giving a little cash, they are always giving and helping others. I strive to be as good as them one day.

Favorite soccer memory?: My favorite soccer memory is from my freshman year of college. My team qualified for the Junior College national tournament in Melbourne, Florida. The whole trip was a blast. We were there for almost two weeks in the middle of November. From training to playing at the beach with the whole team- it was so much fun. With it also being my first collegiate national tournament, playing in front of the large crowd and tons of coaches was something that I’ll never forget.

Why did you choose Sioux Falls City FC?: I chose Sioux Falls City as it is the best and most competitive program that allows me to play at the next level alongside empowered women. Playing for SFCFC will continue my growth as a soccer player and will prepare me for any soccer that is to come in my career.

I’ve been playing soccer for as long as I can remember and have always had a goal to play at the highest level I can. After competing through high school I went on to play at Laramie County Community College in Wyoming, where we finished top 10 in the NJCAA each year. After a great two years at LCCC, I transferred to play at Charleston Southern University in South Carolina. While I enjoyed the beach and warm weather, I chose to transfer again and landed at the University of Mary in North Dakota. I’m very thankful for the COVID year granted to athletes for allowing me to have an extra year of eligibility. Three schools in five years is a lot but looking back, I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. I love this sport and I love competing and plan to play as long as I am able. Excited to play for SFCFC as this allows me to compete at the next level and to help propel me onto whatever comes next in my athletic career.
