Who inspires you and why?: My parents are without fail the two biggest inspirations in my life. Always leading with love, they have taught me to accept challenges with grace, to always be my authentic self, to treat everyone with kindness, and to dream as big as possible. The work they do to better themselves, their community, and the world is nothing short of awe-inspiring. They have demonstrated the true meaning of genuine care, relentless effort, and unwavering support. I hope to follow in their footsteps and create positive change in the world, being unafraid to take risks, redefine normal, and forge my own path.

Favorite soccer memory?: One of my favorite soccer memories occurred after months spent trying to mimic my childhood idol, David Beckham. After begging my U12 club coach to teach me how to "bend it like Beckham," and many months of training and lost balls later, I finally had the opportunity to try my new skill in a game setting. With somewhere around thirty seconds left in the championship game, my team was gifted a free kick in which I stepped up to the plate. In the final seconds of the match, I successfully bent the ball into the upper right corner to win the game. I will never forget the feeling of accomplishment, nor the pure joy of celebrating with my teammates.

Why did you choose Sioux Falls City FC?: I chose and have continued to choose Sioux Falls City because it is unlike any team I have ever been part of. The inclusive and professional environment the owners and coaching staff create for the team provides us players the ability to cultivate a culture that is unique and specific to our shared and individual values. The level of coaching and training, the support from the Sioux Falls community, and the professional nature of the club reminds me why I fell in love with the game, only increasing my passion for the sport and my long term goals.

I started playing soccer at a very young age and quickly dreamed of playing professionally. Wanting to play at an elite level required me to look outside of where I grew up in South Dakota, leading me to leave home at the age of fourteen to attend Shattuck-St. Mary’s, an elite boarding school in Faribault, Minnesota where I competed in both the DA and GA leagues. After completing high school, I pursued my soccer career at the University of Dayton and later transferred to Florida Gulf Coast University, where I currently play. Just as I did as a little girl, I still have aspirations of playing professionally after earning my degree, both overseas and in the US.
