Sherri Meyers

Title: CEO (“She EO”)

Sherri brings a wealth of business experience to Sioux Falls City FC. Her career spans thirty years of leadership roles that combine experience in corporate management, finance, capital fundraising, and leading mission-driven organizations. Her expertise is developing dynamic teams, leading organizational change, and developing effective financial strategies.

As the CEO of Just Food Co-Op in Northfield MN for seven years, Sherri spearheaded a $1.5 million capital campaign to fund a major building remodel and expansion. Once those funds were secured, she successfully navigated the construction process during COVID-19 while concurrently managing the day-to-day store operations safely and profitably. The store remodel and expansion project was finished one month ahead of schedule and under budget. The Northfield Chamber of Commerce recognized Sherri’s accomplishments with the 2020 Business of the Year award.

Most recently, Sherri worked as a Sales Manager for The Connor Group, one of the country’s most successful real estate investment companies. She increased the value of her final asset for the company by $34 million in only 90 days. Results like that helped her earn awards for Best New Manager and Top Property in 2023.

Sherri has also served as a community leader throughout her career. She served as a board member and treasurer of the Northfield Downtown Development Corporation and on the adult board of the Northfield Union of Youth, the nation’s longest-running youth-led youth center. Sherri was also a member of the Northfield Rotary Club and served as chair of its hospitality committee.

SFCFC allows Sherri to leverage the skills she has honed in business to empower and support women in being their authentic selves. Using her powers for good brings her joy. She is married to Sporting Director Joe DeMay and is the proud mother of two grown daughters, Kate and Harper, who live in NYC and Seattle. She enjoys spoiling her 11-year-old toy fox terrier, Aksel. When she’s not busy with SFCFC, Sherri enjoys reading non-fiction books that highlight the often-overlooked accomplishments of women in history, binge-watching rubbish on Netflix, and avidly consuming all the tea the Royal family has to spill. She is solidly Team Meghan.
